Growing up, we learn everything from the Pythagorean Theorem to the capitals of all 50 U.S. states, but somehow, money management and basic financial literacy were left out of the equation for most of us. Only a small slice of the population gets access to this knowledge — either due to privilege or luck.

That is why I left Corporate America. To bring it to the rest of us — in plain English, no jargon.
