Alex Merola, CFA
Money knowledge and confidence,
finally within reach
Alex is a former corporate investment manager turned personal finance educator. She began her career as a Wealth Management Credit Analyst at Deutsche Bank, structuring lending solutions for ultra-high-net-worth clients, and went on to serve as a Vice President at Cigna Investment Management, working in acquisitions and portfolio management for a multi-billion dollar commercial real estate portfolio.
After more than a decade in the industry, Alex saw a gap: the financial concepts she used every day at work were largely inaccessible to the people who needed them most. So she left Corporate America to build something different.
Her mission is simple: to make real financial education accessible to all. She breaks down complex financial concepts into practical tools people can actually use in their everyday lives, because she believes financial literacy is not a luxury. It is how you build a life on your own terms.
Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Economics and is a CFA® charterholder. She serves as the Investment Committee Chair on the Advisory Board of Sacred Heart Academy, her alma mater. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and their twin daughters.
